I wrote this song for my friend Nicole Sangsuree whom I used to perform many shows with over the years. She passsed away and I love her very much. She was a singer-songwriter and she wrote a song called Nok Noi about her experience in Thailand, while discovering her family roots she experienced a tsunam,i and spent her vacation helping locals identify the bodies of their loved ones. I named this song Nok Noi in ode to her life and memory. Nok Noi is Thai for little bird.
