The public health crisis of Intimate partner violence and violence against women has increased dramatically over the course of the covid lockdowns.
Touring and recording artist Poeina is unfortunately no stranger to this, as she has been recovering from a violent assault by her former music producer that left her permanently disabled.

The filming of the music video for her newly released track “Villain”, is a labor of the heart in which beauty & brutality collide in a confrontational art piece that addresses violence against women head on.
This content will be shared in order to help victims of sexual and domestic violence to become empowered to break the cycles of silence and break free from the bonds of oppression.
